DR-WALTER revolutionizes claims management
23.10.2024
The Managing General Agent (MGA) DR-WALTER has established a fully digital claims process together with the Essen-based start-up Flixcheck. This marks significant progress in claims processing and sustainably optimizes the company's workflows. The processing time for claims has been halved - a milestone in terms of customer service and increased efficiency.
Digital self-service for lightning-fast processing and satisfied customers
Previously, claims notifications and medical bills had to be submitted laboriously by post, telephone, fax or e-mail. Today, the structured data flows directly into the AMS administration system via Flixcheck's innovative self-service tool. This allows employees in the claims department to start processing immediately thanks to AI-supported customer processes and automated procedures. The result is a significant time saving and a noticeable reduction in the workload of the team, which can now concentrate more on complex cases and individual customer needs.
Optimized customer communication through partnership with start-up
The digitalization of the claims process at DR-WALTER has not only led to a significant increase in efficiency in claims processing. The contract and payment departments also benefit from the automation.
“Thanks to end-to-end digitalization, we have been able to significantly increase customer satisfaction and efficiency,” says Timo Dreger, Managing Director and COO of DR-WALTER. “Our policyholders still appreciate the personal contact, but what counts most is the prompt processing of their applications.”
A look to the future: presentation at DKM - the leading trade fair
The successful partnership between DR-WALTER and Flixcheck is exemplary for the digital future of the insurance industry. DR-WALTER will be giving a presentation on this topic together with Flixcheck at DKM - The Leading Trade Fair.
