DR-WALTER welcomes insurance expert Timo Dreger as additional managing director

Timo Dreger, well-known and respected in the international insurance industry, is moving to Neunkirchen-Seelscheid on 15 July. As Managing Director, he is responsible for the areas of contract and claims. With his profound InsurTech knowledge, he will further optimise the processes of the Operative with digital solutions and efficiently position it for growth in the coming years.
DR-WALTER is proud to announce the appointment of Timo Dreger (39) as its new Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO). With his extensive knowledge of digital insurance, Dreger will play an important role in the further development of the contract and claims department.
As an additional managing director, Dreger will work closely with CEO Reinhard Bellinghausen to push DR-WALTER's digital transformation forward. His main focus will be on developing innovative digital solutions and suitable strategies to optimise internal processes and provide the best service to customers.

Timo Dreger has a remarkable career in the international insurance industry. He has worked at renowned companies such as Qatar Insurance Group, Assona (a subsidiary of wefox Group), Helvetia Insurance and JDC Group AG. During his career, he has developed successful digital business processes and has been responsible for the overall strategy in these areas.
He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Economics and Management from Zeppelin University with a focus on Innovation & Family Business.
