Improved Travel Insurance Policy PROTRIP

The popular policy PROTRIP for au pairs, language students and other long-term travelers has had a complete overhaul. The insurance conditions are now more up-to-date thanks to a wider variety of choices.
The most important improvement is the differentiation between "worldwide including USA" and "worldwide excluding USA". Since the costs for prescription drugs and treatment are particularly high in the United States, Dr. Walter GmbH and its insurance partner decided to replace the previous mixed calculation model with a new one featuring two different rates. This way, the actual loss ratios can be rendered more accurately.
The following rates apply for the eight different policy versions:

*The minimum fee for PROTRIP Z (supplement) is 93 €.
There were only minor changes in the services of PROTRIP. The assistance service was improved for the versions M, L and Z. In case of a medical emergency and the use of assistance services, the insured person can call a special Europ Assistance help hotline 24/7.
