Cleanup Day at DR-WALTER

As part of the global Cleanup Day, DR-WALTER organized an internal sustainability campaign on 20 September 2024. For three hours, 16 employees collected waste from the green spaces and adjacent woodland around the company premises. The campaign was a complete success and sent out a strong signal against environmental pollution in the region.    

Among the items collected were car tires, glass and plastic bottles, a tricycle, e-cigarettes, plastic packaging and a bar table. Small pieces of waste such as cigarette butts, crown caps and plastic lids were also collected in large quantities.  

Bright sunshine and the joint effort for a worthwhile cause ensured a good atmosphere among the participants.  A big thank you to everyone who took part!  

World Cleanup Day takes place every year on the third Saturday in September and is a global day of action for a clean environment and against waste pollution. DR-WALTER will continue to actively participate in this environmental and sustainability campaign in the future.
