New cooperation between Dr. Walter and Deutsche Kreditbank AG
18.08.2009
Insurance broker Dr. Walter, trusted companion of travelers worldwide, has announced to enter a cooperation with Deutsche Kreditbank AG (DKB). Dr. Walter will therefore also offer "DKB-Cash" on its website www.reiseversicherung.com. This product provides free cash withdrawal worldwide for all globetrotters.
The clients of Dr. Walter – business travelers, expatriates, high school, college and university students, au pairs and development workers – have always been looking for cost-efficient ways to withdraw money abroad. So far, the usual ways include parents sending their children pocket money while employees and business travelers withdraw their money from a German bank account. Even permanent expatriates usually keep their account in Germany and use it, for example, to pay the monthly fees for their German insurance cover. Either way, they all have to pay high transfer fees. Everyone who has to withdraw money abroad makes this experience every now and then.
The solution for this problem is called "DKB-Cash". With this product, you pay a certain amount into the free account. When traveling abroad, you can then withdraw money from that account at any ATM worldwide using your credit card. This is, for example, a great way for parents, whose teenage kids stay abroad for language studies, to have an eye on their youngsters’ expenses. "DKB-Cash" not only provides free cash withdrawal worldwide with a DKB-VISA-Card but also offers an interest rate of 2.05 % on the respective bank giro account.
"We are happy to expand our range of services and to also cover the issue of money abroad from now on,”"said Dr. Walter’s Managing Director Reinhard Bellinghausen when asked about the cooperation with DKB.
In 2009, Dr. Walter GmbH celebrates its 50th anniversary. The company turned from a small family business in 1959 into one of Germany’s leading experts in insuring private and business travel as well as stays abroad, with a present staff of 50 employees at its headquarters in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia.
